Greetings my friends and fellow tasters ! We do have a Wine Tasting this Saturday from Noon to 4 pm, as always. We’ll start with a Picpoul de Pinet, from the Soutwest of France, then we’ll continue to Germany with a Riesling from the Piesporter appellation, followed by the new vintage from Indwe Pinotage to finish, with a rich and intense Cabernet Sauvignon from the Three Fingers Winery in Lodi, California. Welcome to all the moms out there and greetings to our fellow Tasters! This is a busy and special weekend so Sun Singer did not spare any expense! We’ll be tasting four beautiful wines, starting with a Pinot Grigio from Austria, followed by the Trimbach Gewurztraminer, then the Caymus Cabernet Blend from California, and we will finish with a staple from Australia the powerful blend of Cabernet and Shiraz from Penfolds, Bin 389. Greetings my Friends! The weather is so nice we could have been tasting rosés from France, right?Be patient… it is coming up! We’ll start with an orange wine made by the Domaine Ostertag (The Adventures of the Masqued Lamb con’t), followed by a Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast, then the famous Jerome Janodet’s Moulin a Vent - and we’ll finish with a Sonoma Pinot Noir from the Educated Guess line of Wines .

Greetings my fellow Wine Lovers! For the tasting today we’ll have wines from North East Italy and Slovenia. They’re of a different style but very interesting and delicious! Introduced to us by the VRBAS Trading Company in Norridge, IL. When it is about wine, political borders don’t matter and those folks make us discover all the wine from the North East of Italy and the southwest of Slovenia. Quite a Treat!

We’ll start with a fabulous Cakebread Chardonnay, then we’ll have a Rose from “Love You Bunches “ , followed by a Bourgeuil from France, “ le Domaine de la Chevalerie” to finish with “G Y” a Cabernet Franc Blend from Argentina . Then we go to the Beaujolais with a little jewel, from Maison l’Envoye - after that, a classic blend from Portugal, and to finish, a Port Style Wine from Trentadue ”Chocolate Amore”.. I am keeping in mind that the weather has been awful and we are making it worth while for you to show up: we’ll start with a sparkling from ISC, in Peru, Illinois , ( Yes! ) followed by a Rose from South of France, because we all need some sunshine in our glass, we’ll keep going South from Provence with a red from Lebanon to come back to California with a Zinfandel to warm up us !!! Welcome to the New Year and to the First Tasting of 2025! We’ll start with a Verdejo from the Rueda region in Spain, then we go to Bordeaux in France; following will be a wine from Australia and then we’’ll finish up in California with a lovely red Zinfandel .

This is the Last tasting for 2024 ! I can’t hardly believe it... Join me for that special moment to taste a beautiful Viognier Marsanne blend, a Rose ( yes, we love Roses at Sun Singer!) from…Turley Winery, an intense red blend from Matchbox Winery and to finish with some sparkles with a great Champagne: Nicolas Feuillate !
